On June 25, 2023, 16-year-old Jacari Joshmere Reynolds, also known as Jacari Haskins, was tragically killed by gun violence in Roanoke, Virginia. Jacari had recently celebrated his birthday on May 5 and was known as a light in his community and to his siblings and family.
