In the early hours of Monday, May 17, 2021, a violent tragedy unfolded in the O'Fallon neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of 32-year-old Jacquita Jordan. An African American woman known to her friends and loved ones by the nickname '7 Woman,' Jordan was discovered in the 4200 block of Clay Avenue, situated near Penrose Street and just north of Fairground Park.
