On December 28, 2013, 19-year-old Saeed Lateef Majied was found deceased in Roanoke, Virginia, with a gunshot wound. In connection with this incident, 30-year-old Bryson Andrew Brown of Roanoke was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
