In the late summer of 2020, the life of 27-year-old Malik Ivan Sims was tragically cut short in Roanoke, Virginia. On the evening of August 20, Sims was found shot on the side of Garden City Boulevard. Despite the immediate response from law enforcement, his injuries were fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
