In the quiet evening of September 3, 2022, the life of 15-year-old Demarion D. Sanders, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Roanoke, Virginia. Around 7:45 p.m., Roanoke Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 1000 block of Palm Avenue NW.
