On the evening of December 3, 2020, a 14-year-old Black male named Tahmair M. Timms was fatally shot in Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 5:12 p.m. when police responded to reports of gunfire on the 5900 block of Mascher Street in the city's Olney section. Officers discovered Tahmair behind a residence on the 5800 block of Howard Street, suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and back. They rushed him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries later that eve ...
