Hakeem Kwantez Logan, a 29-year-old resident of Roanoke, Virginia, tragically lost his life on the night of September 4, 2021. Logan was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue NW around 11:30 p.m. Despite the prompt arrival of Roanoke Fire-EMS, Logan was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and the Roanoke Police Department has not released details about the suspect or the events leading up to the incident.
