In the late hours of a warm Saturday evening, on September 4, 2021, the life of 29-year-old Hakeem Kwantez Logan was tragically cut short in Roanoke, Virginia. A Black male, Logan was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue NW. Despite the efforts of first responders who arrived at the scene around 11:30 p.m., he was pronounced dead.
