In the quiet hours of a Sunday morning, on February 8, 2026, a grim discovery was made in a place of worship's parking lot in Northwest Roanoke, Virginia, shattering the community's peace. Two men were found inside a car, both having succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds. One of the victims was identified as Khireem Jerome Porter, a 35-year-old man.
