On December 23, 2023, a shooting incident occurred in the 1300 block of Fort Hill Street in Macon, Georgia, resulting in the death of 52-year-old Artice Pettigrew.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation after responding to reports of a person shot in the area. However, upon initial arrival, deputies were informed that there were no shots fired, and they did not observe any signs of an altercation.
