In the early morning hours of August 20, 2023, the life of 30-year-old Robert Evans, also known as Robb Cain, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in downtown Macon, Georgia. Evans, a Black male, was at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Poplar Street when the incident occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a person shot and found Evans at the scene. An altercation had reportedly taken ...
