On the morning of Wednesday, December 17, 2025, a violent tragedy unfolded in Macon, Georgia, claiming the life of an 18-year-old male named DeKerrio Jamontez Cobb. The incident occurred in broad daylight at a Citgo gas station located in the 1900 block of Shurling Drive. Just before noon, at approximately 11:57 a.m., emergency dispatchers received a call reporting gunfire at the convenience store.
