Quantayris Townsend, 27, a Black male, was shot on the night of October 18, 2025, in the 500 block of Williams Street in Macon, Georgia. A 911 call brought deputies to the scene just before 10:30 p.m.; by then, Townsend had been taken to Piedmont Macon, where he was pronounced dead.
