In the early morning hours of a September weekend in Macon, Georgia, a dispute inside a convenience store on Emery Highway escalated with deadly consequences. The verbal altercation spilled outside, and in a matter of moments, 23-year-old Jamon Deshon Jackson was shot. The incident occurred on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Jackson was rushed to Atrium Health Navicent but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
