In the early hours of April 14, 2018, a dispute in Macon, Georgia, turned fatal, claiming the life of 44-year-old Jim Julius Baldwin. The night began on April 13, 2018, when Baldwin was at a gathering with friends at a house on Berkner Avenue. Also present was the girlfriend of a man identified as Tirell Mitchell. Earlier in the day, Mitchell and his girlfriend had been involved in an argument.
