In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Roanoke, Virginia, a sequence of events unfolded that would tragically end the life of Antwannique Tyrell 'Twan' Banks. On October 10, 2021, police responded to a call in the 4100 block of Melrose Avenue NW around 2:30 a.m. There, they discovered a vehicle in the roadway and inside, 37-year-old Antwannique Banks, unresponsive with a serious gunshot wound.
