On August 26, 1973, a tragic incident unfolded in Roanoke, Virginia, resulting in the deaths of multiple family members. Among the victims was 8-year-old Michael Eugene Nail, who lost his life to gun violence. The other victims included his siblings, 10-year-old Charles Nail Jr., 5-year-old Pamela Charlene Nail, and 1-year-old Kimberly Nail, as well as their mother, 29-year-old Sharol Juanita Crotts Nail.
