Dale Jay Arnold, aged 36, tragically lost his life on January 1, 1995, in Roanoke, Virginia. His death was part of a horrific New Year's Day incident that left the community in shock and mourning. Dale was one of five victims in a shooting spree that took place in the Old Southwest neighborhood of Roanoke. The incident occurred in a second-floor apartment on 4½ Street Southwest, where Dale lived with Susan Lynne Hutchinson, another victim of the shooting.
