In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Newport News, Virginia, the life of 24-year-old Aaron Gerard Bowman was tragically cut short. On August 25, 2016, police and medics responded to a call of a shooting at a Motel 6 located on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. Upon their arrival at approximately 10:40 p.m., they discovered Bowman on the ground, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was swiftly transported to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
