In the winter of 2016, a violent encounter in Newport News, Virginia, claimed the life of 30-year-old Quinton Antonio Kelly. On January 14th, police responded to a report of a vehicle accident near the intersection of 14th Street and Wickham Avenue. Arriving at the scene, they discovered Kelly and another man, 38-year-old Cadre Antwoine Gray, inside a silver van. Both men had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene.
