In the late hours of October 11, 2016, a grim discovery was made on Pine Avenue, an area near the city line between Hampton and Newport News, Virginia. A man, later identified as 21-year-old Turhan James Satchell of Newport News, was found unresponsive in the road. Tragically, he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. In an unfortunate turn of events, a driver had also accidentally run over his body before authorities arrived.
