In the city of Portsmouth, Virginia, on the evening of March 17, 2024, the life of 29-year-old Damarcus Dildy was tragically cut short. Emergency dispatchers received a call reporting a shooting in the vicinity of Chestnut Street and Garfield Street. Upon their arrival, police officers discovered Dildy suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
