In the quiet confines of a recreational vehicle parked at the Davis Mobile Home and RV Park in Newport News, Virginia, a grim discovery was made on March 16, 2012. Inside, the bodies of 43-year-old Eddie Arnold Ezzell III and his wife, Katherine Parker Ezzell, were found by a relative who had come to check on them. The scene that unfolded was one of brutal violence; both had been shot in the head at close range. Eddie had sustained two gunshot wounds, while his wife had been shot once.
