In the early hours of a Monday morning, on June 18, 2018, the life of 52-year-old Darryl Lee Collins was tragically cut short in his Newport News, Virginia, apartment. A Black/African American male, Collins was a graduate of Denbigh High School and had honorably served his country for four years in the United States Army and National Guard.
