In the late summer of 2015, a quiet street in Newport News, Virginia, became the scene of a grim discovery that left a community searching for answers. On August 29th, the bodies of 16-year-old Demonte Chambers, a male, and 20-year-old Nickeia Hunter were found inside Chambers' home on Wickham Avenue. The initial call to emergency services came in the early evening from someone who had seen one of the victims inside the residence.
