In the late hours of a November evening in 2016, a burst of gunfire on 24th Street in Newport News, Virginia, irrevocably altered the course of a young man's life. Christopher Alexander Jack Jordan, a 32-year-old male, was struck by the bullets in a violent encounter that would ultimately prove fatal. For three days, he clung to life, but his injuries were too severe, and on November 22, 2016, he succumbed to the gunshot wounds.
