On the evening of December 18, 2016, in Newport News, Virginia, 33-year-old Sean Tremayne Clinton was shot and killed. The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the 4600 block of Marshall Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Clinton had been shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, a 40-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
