Brian Austin Moore, a 24-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2021, in a double shooting incident. The Newport News Police Department responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. on the first block of 28th Street, where they found Moore and a 21-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
