In the late hours of a spring evening in Newport News, Virginia, the life of 23-year-old Stephen D. White was tragically cut short. On April 17, 2020, police responded to a call around 11:40 p.m. in the 600 block of 25th Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered White deceased at the scene, the victim of a fatal shooting. He was a graduate of Granby High School in Norfolk and worked at a Target warehouse.
