In the early morning hours of December 1, 2024, the life of 23-year-old Jesus Cartier Hamilton of Hampton, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Newport News Police Department officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 700 block of Gloucester Drive around 2:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene: three male victims inside the residence, all suffering from gunshot wounds. Jesus Cartier Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene.
