In the early evening of February 21, 2023, the life of 18-year-old Ke'ron Bowles, a male student from Newport News, Virginia, was tragically cut short. A senior at Heritage High School with plans of graduating and joining the military, Bowles was discovered with a gunshot wound near the intersection of 27th Street and Roanoke Avenue. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
