On the evening of Friday, October 23, 2020, in the South Morrison area of Newport News, Virginia, a young man's life was tragically cut short. Kevin Anthony Sutton, a 23-year-old Black male from Hampton, was found outside in the 600 block of Antrim Drive with a gunshot wound. The Newport News Police Department received calls about the shooting at approximately 8:20 p.m. and responded to the scene.
