Jamaa Khalik Scott, a 16-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2017. The incident occurred on the grounds of Montrose Elementary School in eastern Henrico County, near the Richmond International Airport. According to police reports, officers responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 9:38 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Scott suffering from a gunshot wound.
