In the late autumn of 2007, the life of Thurston Dervon Melton was tragically cut short. A 22-year-old male, he was fatally wounded by gunfire on November 20, 2007, in Richmond, Virginia. The shooting is reported to have occurred in the Ginter Park neighborhood of the city, bringing a sudden and violent end to a young life.
