In the early morning hours of April 22, 2023, the life of 53-year-old Curtis Kitchen, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. Just after midnight, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Richmond Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of R Street, near Mosby Street, following reports of a shooting.
