Death by Force

On April 22, 2023, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Richmond Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of R Street, near Mosby Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 53-year-old Curtis Kitchen lying unresponsive on the roadway, having suffered an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
