In the early morning hours of October 28, 2017, the life of 24-year-old Samad Brailsford was tragically cut short in Norfolk, Virginia. A former resident of Newark, New Jersey, Mr. Brailsford, a male, was discovered outside a residence in the 3100 block of Oklahoma Avenue suffering from gunshot wounds. The initial call to police, reporting shots fired, came in at approximately 3:15 a.m.
