In the early morning hours of December 7, 2017, the life of 56-year-old Daniel Liptak, a male resident of Roanoke, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Roanoke Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1500 block of Patterson Avenue SW. Upon their arrival, they discovered Liptak in the front yard of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body.
