Sherece Cook, a 21-year-old woman from Louisa County, Virginia, was tragically found dead on August 10, 2018, in South Richmond. She was discovered inside her SUV on Peyton Avenue, near the Midlothian Village apartments, with apparent gunshot wounds. The vehicle was located in the middle of the street, and two children under the age of three were found unharmed in the back seat. The Medical Examiner confirmed that Cook died from multiple gunshot wounds.
