On a tragic day in August of 2018, the life of 31-year-old Joseph Darnell Wooden was cut short in a devastating act of violence in Hopewell, Virginia. On August 21st, Wooden, a male, was found deceased alongside another man, 23-year-old Alexander Allen III, in what was determined to be a double homicide. The grim discovery was made by Wooden's own mother inside a residence on Ruth Harris Way.
