James Larrelle Thomas, a 40-year-old resident of Hopewell, Virginia, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2024. Thomas, who resided at 1402 Sunnyside Avenue, was affectionately known by his nicknames "Pope" or "Relle". The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Edward Bland Court, where police officers responded to a call at approximately 2:55 p.m.
