On a Tuesday evening in Hopewell, Virginia, the life of 21-year-old Marciano Latrell Thorne was cut short. On October 3, 2023, at approximately 9:40 pm, police responded to the 1100 block of High Avenue after reports of an unconscious male who had been shot.
