In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 7, 2021, the life of 28-year-old Malik Sharkur Easton was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. Responding to a call about an unresponsive person, Columbus Police officers arrived at the area of 12th Avenue and 20th Street to a grim discovery. There, they found Easton, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
