Eric Devon Patterson, a 41-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 15, 2019, in Columbus, Georgia. Patterson was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound around 4:00 AM following an apparent drive-by shooting. The incident also left three other individuals injured, who were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. The shooting occurred in the early hours of the morning, and the Muscogee County coroner confirmed Patterson's death at the scene.
