Born on October 29, 1976, in Columbus, he was the son of the late Beatrice Jones and Melvin James. Thalmus was a beloved father, leaving behind one son, Alonza Rozier, and four daughters, Tyquandreshia Williams, Nevaeh Thomas, Jameria Oliver, and Serenity Thomas.
