Lyatray Lisshawn Buchanan, a 24-year-old African American male from Albany, GA, tragically lost his life on August 25, 2019, in Columbus, GA. Buchanan, along with 28-year-old Lamonte Denard Muff, also from Albany, GA, was fatally shot in a violent incident that occurred on Mellon Street. Both victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds, leading to their untimely deaths. A third individual was critically injured in the same shooting, highlighting the severity of the attack.
