On July 25, 2024, Evan Garner, a 38-year-old white male, was fatally shot at a residence on the 700 block of Parkhill Drive in Columbus, Georgia. Local police responded to a call at approximately 10:46 p.m. and found Evan Garner unresponsive upon arrival. Despite efforts by Emergency Medical Services, Garner could not be revived, and Deputy Coroner Ben Saxon pronounced him dead at 11:27 p.m..
