In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Columbus, Georgia, the life of 29-year-old Jaquill Ledon Banks was tragically cut short. On October 25, 2020, Banks, a resident of Phenix City, Alabama, was in a parking lot on Victory Drive when he was fatally shot multiple times. The incident occurred around 2:39 a.m., a time when the city was otherwise quiet, now pierced by the sound of gunfire.
