David Escobar, a 17-year-old male, was fatally shot on May 6, 2025, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Vineville Street. Upon arrival, Columbus Police Officers found Escobar suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at 6:13 p.m. by Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
