In the quiet neighborhood of Urban Avenue in Columbus, Georgia, the life of 37-year-old Marjester Thornton was tragically cut short on the evening of September 25, 2021. Thornton, a male resident of the area, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Muscogee County Coroner. His death was ruled a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Columbus Police Department.
