Marjester Thornton III, a 37-year-old African American male from Columbus, GA, tragically lost his life on September 25, 2021. Born on March 22, 1984, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Thornton was affectionately known as "Marty" by his friends and family. His death was the result of a fatal shooting, which occurred outside his parents' home on Urban Avenue in Columbus.
