In the late afternoon of a Sunday in Columbus, Georgia, the life of 25-year-old Willie Malik Harris Jr. was tragically cut short. On April 28, 2024, in a wooded and otherwise empty lot tucked behind the Liberty Commons apartment complex near the intersection of Victory Drive and Airview Drive, Harris was shot multiple times.
