In the spring of 2020, a young man’s life was abruptly cut short in Columbus, Georgia. Twenty-year-old Quincy La'Savion Atkins, a former student of William H. Spencer High School and an employee at the Kia Auto Manufacturing Plant, was killed on the evening of Saturday, April 18th. The events of that evening suggest a terrifying ordeal for Atkins as he was apparently trying to escape his assailant.
